Join the journey as WA’s Binar-1 set for launch Saturday 28 August 2021

 

As a proud partner of Curtin University’s Binar Space Program, AROSE invites all our members and supporters to join us in marking this historic milestone for WA’s journey into space.

The Binar-1 CubeSat has been designed, coded and built by staff and students from Curtin University’s Space Science and Technology Centre, and will launch from Cape Canaveral, Florida on a SpaceX CRS-23 Falcon 9 rocket headed to the International Space Station on Saturday 28 August 2021, at 3.37pm AWST*

Replays of the launch will play on the Digital Tower until 5 September 2021.
Visit the WA Museum Boola Bardip to get up close and personal with a `Big Binar’ and write a message to space.
