AROSE and Austmine strengthen ties

AROSE and its members are thrilled to partner with Austmine, the leading industry association for the Australia’s Mining Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) sector.

Austmine represents more than 650 METS companies nationally. The METS sector is one of the most technologically advanced, innovative and internationalised industry sectors in Australia. Driven by a pioneering spirit and a commitment to excellence, Australian METS companies can be found in every corner of the globe.

Michelle Keegan, AROSE Program Director and Deputy Chair of the AROSE Resources Advisory Board, said the new partnership with Austmine will help drive collaboration, leverage resources capability into Space missions, and bring Space capability into the resources sector. The partnership will also help METS companies broaden their business strategies into Australia’s burgeoning Space sector.

As part of the partnership, AROSE and Austmine will positively promote each other’s activities and communicate the value each organisation brings to the Mining and METS sectors. The partnership will also broaden their combined reach into other sectors, including agriculture, defence, energy and advanced manufacturing.

The partnership strengthens existing ties between AROSE and Austmine. AROSE Resources Advisory Board member Clytie Dangar is also a Board Director of Austmine. AROSE and Austmine already work with a similar range of stakeholders including other METS organisations and members, mining organisations, government, academic institutions and fellow industry associations.
